Westmoreland Community Blood Drive scheduled for May 1, 2010 , 8:30 AM to 1:30PM
March 08, 2010 The Westmoreland Community Blood Drive on March 5, 2010 was well attended. We had 43 appointments scheduled. Although some with appointments were unable to attend, we had 31 sucessful donations , plus 4 double red donations. Our total for the day was 39 units collected.

QUARENTINE OF DOGS 01-13-2010 until 04-15-2010
January 18, 2010 Oneida County announces that a quarentine of dogs running at large, started January 13, 2010, and will continue until April 15, 2010. Article 7, Section 122, of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law, prohibits all dogs from running at large. All dogs must be confined or under the direct control of their owners. Dogs that are found off their owner's property, can be picked up as strays, by the Dog Control Officer. The number for the Dog Control Officer, Sue Gardinier, is 315-363-0014.

FREE! AARP Tax Aide will be at Westmoreland Town Hall, 9 AM to Noon, March 3, 2010.
December 15, 2009 AARP Tax Aide counselors will be available to assist in preparing tax year 2009 Federal and State Income Tax Forms.
To schedule an appointment ,please call 853-8001, extension 2. If no one answers, you can leave a message (name/phone number) and the Town Clerk will return your call, and register you for this service.
This is FREE to those over 60 years of age and others with low or middle incomes. Please bring all sources of income with you, ( Social Security, interest income, pension income, ect. ) |
