AARP Tax Aide counselors will be available to assist in preparing tax year 2011 Federal and State Income Tax Forms.
To schedule an appointment ,please call 853-8001, extension 2. If no one answers, you can leave a message (name/phone number) and the Town Clerk will return your call, and register you for this service.
This is FREE to those over 60 years of age and others with low or middle incomes. Please bring all sources of income with you, ( Social Security, interest income, pension income, ect. )

The new Veterans discount cards are available from the Oneida County Clerk's office, at 800 Park Ave, Utica, NY. They can also be obtained at the following County satellite locations from 10 AM till 2 PM.
Camden Municipal Bldg., Church Street, Camden, NY on th first Monday of the month.
Boonville Municipal Bldg., Rt. 12, Boonville, NY on the second Tuesday of each month.
Bridgewater Municipal Bldg., Rt. 8, Bridgewater, NY, on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Sherrill Municipal bldg., Sherrill Rd., Sherrill, NY, on the third Thursday of each month.
Bring a copy of your DD-214 discharge papers to prove your status.

The Westmoreland Community Blood Drive on January 7,2012, was well attended.

Dog licensing became a local government function on January 1, 2011. The Town Clerk's office will be sending out renewal notices the third week of each month, for the next months licenses. Each dog will now receive an identification tag with the name of the Town and a town contact number printed on the tag.
The fees for new or renewal licenses will increase on January 1, 2011. Fees for spayed or neutered dogs will now be $6.00 per year. The fee for an unspayed or un-neutered dog increases to $18.00. In addition the Town will be charging a $2.00 per month fee if the licenses are late in being renewed.
(January licenses were due by the 31 st. of January, February licenses by the 28th of February, and so on)
A current rabies certificate is still required to license or renew a license.
